About New Vista

New Vista is a community mental health center with an office in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, part of a network serving children and adults across 17 Central Kentucky counties. Alongside substance use care, they provide mental health, intellectual and developmental disability, emergency, and primary care services, so people can address several needs under one organization. Their substance use services include outpatient therapy, an intensive outpatient program, residential treatment, and medication-assisted recovery. They hold that anyone can reach recovery and stay sober, and they shape treatment around each person’s needs.

Outpatient care pairs relapse prevention and recovery skill-building with individual, family, couples, and group therapy, all delivered by licensed behavioral health professionals trained in evidence-based addiction approaches. Clients attend the office closest to home and are typically seen quickly, with open access intake on weekdays and telehealth available for those who can’t easily travel. They also run specialized tracks, including a drug court program, Seeking Safety, and an Under 21 DUI zero-tolerance program. A 24-hour helpline serves as the starting point for anyone ready to begin care.
