About New Hope Ranch

New Hope Ranch is an addiction treatment center on a 49-acre ranch in Manor, Texas, about 15 minutes from downtown Austin, and is part of the Discovery Addiction Services network. They treat adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, using a measurement-based approach that tracks 27 wellness indicators from intake through aftercare to shape each person’s plan. Care starts with medically supervised detox when needed and continues through residential treatment and a partial hospitalization program (PHP), which can be attended with or without on-site boarding. They accept TRICARE, Managed Medicaid, and many major private insurance plans.

Clinical work follows American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria and centers on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), with experiential options like art, music, restorative yoga, gardening, fishing, and a ropes course. Patients can connect with several recovery paths, including AA, NA, SMART Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, and Refuge Recovery, and staff help them find meetings and sponsors. The Stars & Stripes track offers trauma-focused care for veterans and first responders, combining individual therapy, small groups, and life skills, and they serve veterans through the VA Community Care Network with TriWest. After discharge, alumni receive in-person and online support groups, social events, and a year of access to the Discovery365 app for ongoing check-ins.
