About New Hope Counseling Center

New Hope Counseling Center is a small, family-run outpatient counseling practice in Frederick, Colorado, serving adults who are dealing with addiction, trauma, and mental health concerns. They are run by a mother–daughter team with more than 15 years of experience together, which began in addiction services for probation and parole clients before shifting to individual counseling. Addiction and trauma have affected their own family, and that experience shapes a trauma-informed, person-centered approach that focuses on the whole person rather than a diagnosis. Along with substance use, they help clients with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, long-standing trauma, and the strain of a loved one’s addiction.

Care is delivered through one-on-one sessions, both for addiction-focused counseling and for broader mental health therapy aimed at building coping skills and working through difficult experiences at the client’s own pace. They also conduct substance abuse evaluations for people who need treatment recommendations or an assessment to satisfy legal requirements, as well as separate mental health evaluations to clarify symptoms and guide treatment planning. For workers in DOT-regulated jobs, they offer a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) return-to-duty process that covers the initial and follow-up interviews, case management, Clearinghouse updates, and follow-up testing requirements for employers. Pricing is listed openly, with counseling sessions at $125 and evaluations ranging from $200 to $415.
