About Narconon of Oklahoma Inc

Narconon Arrowhead, operated by Narconon of Oklahoma Inc in Canadian, Oklahoma, is a nonprofit drug and alcohol rehabilitation center licensed by Narconon International to deliver the Narconon program. They use a drug-free approach built on methods developed by L. Ron Hubbard, and their aim is to help people work through the problems that led to substance use so they can regain self-respect and control over their lives. They have been serving people since 1989 and have held CARF accreditation since 1992.

The Narconon program follows a set, step-by-step sequence that includes drug-free withdrawal, a sauna- and nutrition-based phase called the New Life Detoxification, and life skills training. Participants are called students rather than patients, which reflects the program’s focus on personal responsibility and on learning practical skills for living without drugs. Students also work on repairing harm done to others. The final stage focuses on preparing them to return to their families, jobs, and communities.
