About Naaman Center
Naaman Center, part of the Pennsylvania-based Naaman Network, is a faith-based provider offering evidence-based treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. They provide a full continuum of care, starting with medically monitored withdrawal management (Level 3.7) and moving into clinically managed residential treatment (Level 3.5) at two inpatient sites in Pennsylvania. From there, they offer intensive outpatient and standard outpatient programs, medication-assisted treatment, and medication management for people with co-occurring or primary mental health diagnoses. They also list youth counseling among their services.
All client-facing residential staff have been trained through the Arizona Trauma Institute, so care is shaped by an understanding of how past trauma affects recovery. Their MAT program pairs medications such as buprenorphine or naltrexone with counseling and focuses mainly on opioid and alcohol use disorders, with at least 12 months of treatment recommended before reassessing. Outpatient clients typically attend three-hour group sessions three days a week, plus a weekly individual session, with morning or evening options available. Groups cover relapse prevention, 12-step work, skill-building, addiction education, family issues, process work, and codependency, and the program also includes drug testing and employment assistance near the end of treatment.
