About Mind Dojo
Mind Dojo is an outpatient mental health and addiction practice in Irwin, Pennsylvania, with a second location in Monroeville and virtual care available statewide. They were founded by someone who personally navigated anxiety, depression, and serious illness, and they treat substance use as a medical condition that is closely tied to mental health, trauma, and everyday life. For addiction, they offer individual therapy, an adult Intensive Outpatient Program (ASAM Level 2.1), and Medication-Assisted Treatment, all coordinated by one team under a single recovery plan. They serve adults with alcohol or drug use, people with co-occurring depression, anxiety, or trauma, and those stepping down from detox, inpatient, or residential care.
The adult Reset & Rebuild IOP meets three to five days a week for three-hour sessions, combining group and individual therapy, psychoeducation, coping skills work, and family involvement when it helps. Clinical work draws on CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention, which makes them a good fit for people looking for a clinical alternative to programs built only on 12-step principles. Their MAT program uses buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid use disorder and naltrexone (Vivitrol) for opioid and alcohol dependence, alongside counseling, regular drug screening, and long-term planning that includes tapering when appropriate. They also run a separate IOP for teens ages 14 and up, offer EMDR, Brainspotting, and psychiatric care, and hold Joint Commission accreditation and a DDAP license.
