About MFI Recovery Center
MFI Recovery Center is a CARF-accredited nonprofit behavioral health organization based in Riverside, California, serving adults and adolescents facing substance use, mental health, and family challenges at locations across the Inland Empire, including Banning, Murrieta, Hemet, and San Jacinto. They view recovery as a lifelong process and believe everyone deserves access to treatment regardless of their ability to pay. Care takes place in safe, confidential, drug-free settings. Their continuum runs from assessment and withdrawal management through residential treatment, outpatient care, and aftercare, and they also offer mental health services and primary health care.
Residential care is gender-specific: A Woman’s Place provides detox and residential treatment for women, including mothers with their children, and La Vista offers residential and outpatient care for women, along with a program for mature women. Men can choose from Woodcrest, Sunrise House, or Mt. Rubidoux, an apartment-style program with round-the-clock monitoring, while University Detox serves both men and women in separate rooms. Family involvement is central to their approach, with family, individual, and couples counseling, as well as Multidimensional Family Therapy for adolescents. Medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone, Subutex, Vivitrol, naltrexone, or acamprosate is available in both residential and outpatient programs, and they provide psychiatric monitoring for co-occurring depression or anxiety, case management, relapse prevention, parenting classes, and support for pregnant women in recovery.
