About MFI Recovery Center

MFI Recovery Center is a CARF-accredited nonprofit behavioral health organization based in Riverside, California, serving adults and adolescents with substance use, mental health, and family concerns at sites across the Inland Empire, including Banning, Murrieta, and Hemet. Their continuum runs from assessment and withdrawal management through residential treatment, outpatient care, and aftercare, with primary health care offered alongside addiction and mental health services. They view recovery as a lifelong process and believe everyone deserves a chance at treatment regardless of ability to pay. They also place a strong emphasis on dignity, confidentiality, and a safe, drug-free environment.

Family involvement is central to their approach, with counseling that brings relatives together to build communication and healthier coping skills, and Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) for adolescents. Residential care is gender-specific: A Woman’s Place serves women and women with children, La Vista serves women and includes a mature women’s track, and Woodcrest and Sunrise House serve men. In Riverside, Mt. Rubidoux offers men apartment-style residential treatment with round-the-clock monitoring, psychiatric support for depression or anxiety, and peer support, while the University Detox Center provides detox for both men and women in gender-specific rooms. Medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone, Subutex, Vivitrol, naltrexone, or acamprosate is available in both residential and outpatient settings, including for pregnant women, who can also receive parent coaching.
