About Metro Treatment of Florida LP

Metro Treatment of Florida LP is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Pompano Beach, Florida, and part of New Season, a national network that has treated opioid use disorder since 1986 and now runs more than 80 clinics in 20 states. They work with adults struggling with heroin or prescription painkiller dependence, combining medication with counseling to address both the physical and psychological sides of addiction. Care centers on medication-assisted treatment, and the network also offers an intensive outpatient program for people who need more structure without stepping into residential care. Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance plans are accepted.

A physician helps each patient choose between methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone, including extended-release buprenorphine, and stable patients may qualify for take-home doses that cut down on daily clinic visits. Counseling is offered in individual, group, and family formats, while the intensive outpatient track meets three times a week for three hours over at least six weeks, covering wellness, recovery, and resiliency education alongside weekly family sessions. Patients in the maintenance phase can use video-based telecounseling and telemedicine, which helps with transportation and scheduling barriers. Staff also connect patients with practical support, such as housing, employment, food, transportation, phone access, insurance enrollment, and peer recovery specialists, to help them stay engaged in treatment.
