About Metro Treatment of Alabama LP

Metro Treatment of Alabama LP, known to patients as Mobile Metro Treatment Center, is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Mobile, Alabama. They are part of New Season, a national provider that has focused on opioid use disorder since 1986 and now runs more than 80 centers in 20 states. Their approach treats opioid addiction as a medical condition, pairing medication with counseling to help adults stabilize and stay engaged in recovery. Care centers on medication-assisted outpatient treatment, with an intensive outpatient track for people who need more structure, and they accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance.

A New Season physician helps each patient choose between methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone, including extended-release buprenorphine, and stable patients may qualify for take-home doses that cut down on clinic visits. Counseling is offered in individual, group, and family formats. The intensive outpatient program meets three times a week for three-hour sessions over at least six weeks and covers wellness, recovery skills, resiliency, and weekly family sessions, and it is open to people who are pregnant, involved with the justice system, or managing mental health or chronic health conditions. Once patients reach a stable dose, they can use secure video for counseling and quarterly medical visits, and staff connect them with local help for housing, jobs, food, transportation, insurance enrollment, phone service, and peer recovery support.
