McCall Behavioral Health Network is a Torrington, Connecticut nonprofit that has helped people with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, or both for more than 50 years. Their continuum covers prevention, treatment, recovery supports, and community engagement for all ages, with residential and outpatient treatment, programs for teens and families, primary care, and pharmacy services. The care team includes recovery coaches, counselors, psychiatric APRNs, and staff with lived experience of recovery. They accept HUSKY and most private insurance and offer a sliding fee scale, and no one is turned away because they can’t afford care.

Their medication-assisted treatment program pairs FDA-approved medications such as buprenorphine (Suboxone) with therapy, so each client works with a medical provider, a therapist, and a recovery support specialist. Same-day induction is available during office visits, and a Mobile Wellness Van accepts walk-ups in Torrington, Winsted, Canaan, and Waterbury. Outpatient mental health care is trauma-informed and gender-responsive, offering CBT-based brief treatment and individual counseling for anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, problem gambling, and eating disorders, with Spanish-language services in Waterbury and Danbury and Portuguese-language services in Danbury. Clients can also add integrative therapies such as acudetox ear acupuncture, art therapy, pet therapy, Reiki, sound healing, qigong, and fitness programs, while adults recovering from psychiatric illness have access to small licensed group homes and supported employment services.
