About Maple Mountain Recovery
Maple Mountain Recovery, also known as Maple Mountain Mental Health and Wellness, is a small residential treatment center in Mapleton, Utah, serving adults 18 and older with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Their philosophy holds that addiction is usually a response to something deeper, such as unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, or long-ignored physical imbalances, so a dually licensed clinical team works on the substance use and its underlying causes at the same time. They treat alcohol, opioid, heroin, benzodiazepine, cocaine, cannabis, Adderall, and hallucinogen use, among others. Care moves from residential treatment with 24/7 clinical support to a partial hospitalization program, an evening intensive outpatient program, and personalized aftercare with alumni support.
Trauma work sits at the center of treatment, with EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, and somatic therapy offered alongside CBT, DBT, and psychiatric care. For people who have relapsed after past treatment or haven’t responded to medication, they offer medically supervised ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, TMS, and neurofeedback, while a functional medicine program uses lab testing to look at inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, and gut health and pairs the results with tailored, chef-prepared meals. With no more than 16 residents at a time, days blend individual and group therapy with equine therapy, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, sweat lodge ceremonies, sound baths, yoga nidra, and art and music therapy. Families stay involved through family therapy, structured education, and weekly updates from dedicated family advocates.
