About London Trauma Therapy
London Trauma Therapy, also known as the London Centre for Trauma Therapy, is a trauma-focused psychotherapy practice in London, Ontario, with a second office in Komoka and virtual sessions available anywhere in Ontario. Founder Jordan Thomas, MSW, started the clinic after her own recovery from PTSD, and the practice has since grown to a team of more than 25 social workers and psychotherapists. They help people work through trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, eating disorders, relationship struggles, and substance use. Care is delivered through scheduled outpatient sessions for individuals, couples, families, children, and teens.
Therapists draw on evidence-based methods, including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, DBT, CBT, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. For people dealing with substance use, sessions focus on the issues driving the pattern, building healthier ways to cope, and regaining a sense of control over choices. They keep no waitlist and can sometimes offer same-day appointments. A client care team matches each person with a suitable therapist, and free 15-minute consultation calls let you get a feel for a therapist’s style before committing to sessions.
