About LifeSpring Health Systems
LifeSpring Health Systems is a community health center based in Jeffersonville, Indiana, that has served Southern Indiana since 1964 with behavioral health, addiction, and primary care services. Their Recovery Campus in Jeffersonville brings the Turning Point Center and the Integrated Treatment Center together, giving adults with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders one place to get care. Levels of care include 24-hour staffed residential treatment, a physician-supervised sub-acute unit for crisis stabilization, and outpatient recovery services for adults 18 and older. As a federally funded health center, they offer a sliding fee scale based on income and family size and turn no one away for inability to pay.
Treatment combines one-on-one work with a therapist or care manager to set and pursue recovery goals, alongside groups where clients build new skills and support one another. A multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and case managers shapes each person’s plan, and the Integrated Treatment Center adds primary medical care to outpatient addiction and mental health treatment. Getting started can be as simple as walking in or calling, with no paperwork needed up front, though admission criteria still apply. Through Project CARE, LifeSpring also partners with police and EMS in Clark and Harrison counties on a quick response team that reaches out to people within 24 to 72 hours after an overdose, using peer support and harm reduction to connect them with treatment.
