Lifeskills South Florida, now known as Lifeskills Delray Beach Outpatient, is the Delray Beach outpatient location of Lifeskills Behavioral Health, a Florida provider with more than 35 years in behavioral healthcare. They treat adults 18 and older of all genders for substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, mental health conditions, thought disorders, and co-occurring diagnoses. In Delray Beach, care centers on an intensive outpatient program. Clients who need a higher level of care can use the wider Lifeskills network, which includes medical detox in Fort Lauderdale, residential treatment in Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando, and transitional living for people in outpatient care.

The IOP involves about 10 hours of treatment a week, usually over 8 to 12 weeks. People can start directly or step down from residential or partial hospitalization care, and the schedule leaves room for work, school, and family obligations. Group therapy is the core of the program, with specialty groups in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, relapse prevention, healthy relationships, and practical life skills. Treatment follows specialized clinical pathways led by doctoral- and master’s-level clinicians. They also track outcomes across diagnostic categories and offer an intensive diagnostic evaluation program at their Deerfield Beach campus for people whose overlapping symptoms have gone unexplained after earlier treatment.
