About Liberty Addiction Recovery Centers
Liberty Addiction Recovery Centers is a Utah addiction treatment provider whose residential program operates out of a 60-bed, 27,000-square-foot facility in American Fork. They treat substance use alongside co-occurring mental health conditions, using a trauma-informed approach aimed at the underlying issues that drive addiction. Their continuum runs from intervention help and monitored detox through 24-hour residential care, an intensive outpatient program, and sober living homes. They accept Utah Medicaid, Molina, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, and most Utah insurance plans.
After residential care, clients can move directly into Liberty-run recovery residences while continuing therapy. From there they step into IOP, which typically starts at 20 to 25 hours a week and tapers to about 4 hours as progress allows. Peer mentoring is central to the program, with group sessions often led by people who have completed it themselves, and family members get their own support to heal and to help their loved one. Liberty also focuses on rebuilding life after treatment through goal-setting work, connections to education and financial aid, and help finding employment, along with an alumni program and an app that offers around-the-clock access to coping tools and counselors.
