About LCADA Way

The LCADA Way, now part of Riveon Mental Health and Recovery, is a nonprofit behavioral health organization in Lorain, Ohio, that treats drug and alcohol addiction alongside mental health conditions. Formed by merging The LCADA Way’s addiction recovery work with The Nord Center’s mental health services, they bring addiction care, mental health support, crisis services, and primary care under one organization. They treat adults, adolescents, and families, and their care focuses on building the skills, support, and tools people need to stay abstinent and manage addiction as a chronic disease. Levels of care include 24/7 adult detox, day treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and low-intensity outpatient treatment.

Alongside these levels of care, they offer individual and group counseling, medication-assisted treatment, and a trauma-informed approach throughout. A dedicated women’s treatment program operates through The Key Women’s Center, and families can take part in services alongside their loved ones. Because Riveon also provides mental health services, 24/7 walk-in behavioral health and crisis support, and on-site primary care with a sliding fee scale, people can address their physical and emotional health in the same place they receive recovery support.
