Integrative Life Center is a locally owned treatment provider in Nashville, Tennessee, serving adults who are struggling with substance use, mental health conditions, trauma, eating disorders, and intimacy disorders. Their clinical model is trauma-informed and centered on resolving trauma, with the aim of uncovering and healing the root causes behind addictive behaviors, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and attachment wounds. They offer a full continuum of care that includes gender-specific residential programs for men and women, a women’s residential eating disorders program called Cato House, and a men’s residential program for sex, love, and pornography addiction. Clients can then step down into partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care through Music Row in the heart of the city.

Residential clients take part in 35 hours of gender-separate group programming each week, including weekends, along with two weekly individual sessions with a master’s-level clinician. Nursing supervision, psychiatric care, medication management, nutritional support, and around-the-clock awake staff are all part of the program. The women live in an 11-bed home on a five-acre hilltop, while the men stay in two six-bed homes on a 25-acre wooded property with a ropes course, labyrinth, art studio, and trails, and residents cook dinner together to build life skills. Therapies across the programs include EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT, DBT skills, psychodrama, trauma-informed yoga, breathwork, equine therapy, martial arts therapy, music therapy, and art therapy. In IOP, clients attend 12 hours of group therapy and one individual session over four days each week, live independently or in supportive housing, and attend five outside recovery meetings weekly, such as 12-step, SMART, or Refuge Recovery.
