About Infinity Health
Infinity Health is a federally qualified health center serving communities across southern Iowa, including the Albia area, and northern Missouri. They offer outpatient substance use treatment alongside primary medical care, mental health services, dental care, and an in-house pharmacy. They welcome patients regardless of ability to pay, with a sliding fee scale based on income and family size and a 340B drug discount program for those who qualify. The organization opened in 2005 as Community Health Centers of Southern Iowa and adopted the Infinity Health name in 2022.
Their substance use programming helps people struggling with alcohol or drug use work toward stopping, and treatment length and format can vary with each person’s needs. Licensed staff also conduct Department of Transportation substance use evaluations for people who have violated DOT drug and alcohol rules. Because addiction often overlaps with mental health concerns, patients can also receive individual and family therapy, mental health counseling, and medication management under the same organization. Telemedicine is available for people in rural areas who have trouble getting to an office, and an after-hours behavioral health emergency line offers support outside regular clinic hours.
