Illinois Recovery Center is a Joint Commission-accredited drug and alcohol treatment center serving the Belleville area and the wider Metro East region of Southern Illinois from their campus in neighboring Swansea. Founded in 2023 by CEO Eric Conley, they focus solely on substance use disorders and offer a full continuum of care in one location, including medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, standard outpatient, and aftercare with an alumni program. Because these levels share one campus, clients can move from detox into ongoing treatment without switching care teams or starting a new plan. They treat addiction to alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, stimulants such as cocaine and meth, prescription drugs, marijuana, kratom, hallucinogens, and inhalants.

Clinical work relies mainly on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing, delivered in individual and group sessions and supported by family and couples therapy, holistic approaches, and peer recovery specialists. Their programming is trauma-informed, and a dual diagnosis track treats depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other co-occurring conditions alongside substance use. Medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders is available at every stage, and each client works with a case manager on practical matters as their individualized plan is adjusted over time. Residential days balance therapy, relapse prevention, and coping-skills work with shared meals, fitness center time, and evening peer support meetings, and aftercare planning begins well before discharge.
