About Huntingdon Valley Comp Trt Center

Huntingdon Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is an outpatient opioid treatment program in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, and part of the Comprehensive Treatment Centers network. They work with adults age 18 and older of all genders who are living with opioid use disorder, using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) that pairs medication with counseling. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan, and patients are encouraged to define their own recovery goals and their own picture of wellness. Same-day admission, around-the-clock appointment scheduling, and acceptance of most insurance plans help lower common barriers to starting care.

On the medication side, they offer both methadone and Suboxone to ease cravings and help patients stop opioid use safely without enduring harsh withdrawal. Take-home dosing is available, which can make ongoing treatment easier to manage alongside work and family life. Counseling is the second core piece of care, with individual and group sessions that address the behavioral, social, and emotional toll opioid addiction can take. In those sessions, patients explore what has driven their opioid use, build coping skills to avoid returning to it, and learn healthier ways to handle stress.
