About Homes of Personal Enrichment and
Homes of Personal Enrichment & Sobriety Services (H.O.P.E.S.S.) is a Phoenix, Arizona, treatment provider offering residential and intensive outpatient care for adults facing addiction and co-occurring mental health concerns. Their approach builds on each person’s existing strengths, even when someone feels they have none, and brings family and other supports into the process. Residential care takes place in a home-like setting with staff available around the clock, while the IOP lets people keep up with work, family, and community responsibilities as they continue treatment. They welcome clients of all backgrounds, including LGBTQ individuals, and accept private pay and private insurance.
Care begins with an individualized assessment of educational, social, emotional, spiritual, legal, vocational, family, and medical needs. Residents then follow a structured daily schedule that includes individual counseling, group process, relapse prevention, didactic lectures, recreation, creative expression, and an introduction to the 12 Steps. One-on-one work with therapists and case managers can involve psychiatric evaluations, biopsychosocial assessments, intensive case management, and cultural assessment, and clients can revise their plan with their team at any point. They also provide grief and trauma therapy and family or conjoint sessions as needed, and the IOP adds life skills development, peer support, and discharge planning to help people sustain their progress.
