About Grove of LA LLC

The Grove Recovery Center operates an 80-bed detox and residential campus in Sorrento, Louisiana, serving adults with alcohol and drug addiction as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. Their care follows a three-phase model rooted in 12-step principles, and they aim to treat each person’s medical, mental, and spiritual health together. Levels of care include medically managed detox, residential treatment, a dual diagnosis program, and intensive outpatient services, with outpatient campuses in Gonzales and Baton Rouge. They also run 11 gender-specific sober living homes for men and women in the Baton Rouge area and Ascension Parish.

Detox typically lasts three to seven days and includes medically monitored withdrawal, medication-assisted treatment, counseling, and an introduction to the 12 steps. Residential and dual diagnosis stays average about 30 days in small, gender-specific units, with daily three-hour process groups, weekly individual therapy, Recovery Dynamics education, recreational therapy, and family programming. Clients with co-occurring disorders see a psychiatric provider weekly and have a separate medical team. After residential care, clients can step down to roughly 12 weeks of IOP, meeting three times a week. The “Living in Recovery” sober living program pairs housing with drug testing, required outpatient participation, sponsorship, and life skills training in areas like budgeting and employment.
