New Origins is a men’s addiction treatment program in Redlands, California, licensed and certified by the state Department of Health Care Services. They follow an integrated model that treats substance use and mental health together, with the goal of getting at the root causes behind addiction rather than only the symptoms. They work with men struggling with alcohol, benzodiazepines, cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, opioids, kratom, and xylazine, as well as behavioral addictions such as gambling, internet, and sex addiction. Care is offered through a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), standard outpatient treatment, and ongoing aftercare.

Treatment plans are individualized and draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, individual and group therapy, trauma therapy, and anger management, along with experiential options like adventure therapy and art therapy. Men who value peer accountability can take part in a 12-step track alongside the clinical work, and a family recovery program helps loved ones rebuild relationships strained by addiction. Aftercare plans can include continued therapy, support groups, mentorship from people further along in recovery, and relapse prevention skills. Clients can also get practical help with life skills such as budgeting, job readiness, and time management, along with support finding work and sober living housing, and most major insurance plans are accepted.
