About Freeman Recovery Center LLC
Freeman Recovery Center treats drug and alcohol addiction from two campuses west of Nashville, with their Dickson, TN location handling day treatment (partial hospitalization), intensive outpatient, and standard outpatient care. Medical detox and residential treatment take place at their sister campus in nearby Burns. They treat alcohol use disorder, drug addiction including benzodiazepines like Klonopin, and co-occurring mental health conditions through dual diagnosis care. Both campuses hold Joint Commission accreditation and state licensure, and admissions offers a free, confidential assessment with same-day entry when a spot is open and clinically appropriate.
Their central idea is keeping people within one organization as their needs shift, so someone can move from detox to day treatment or start in outpatient without being handed off to a new provider. Housing and transportation come with admission, supported by more than twenty recovery homes and their own fleet of vans, and more than half of the staff are in recovery themselves. Outpatient programming combines individualized treatment plans, individual and group counseling, family therapy, relapse prevention education, and coping skill development, and all outpatient levels accept people taking medication for addiction. For benzodiazepine withdrawal, they use medically supervised tapering and supporting medications such as gabapentin, and aftercare and alumni support remain available once formal treatment ends.
