Freeman Recovery Center is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment provider west of Nashville, and their Dickson campus offers day treatment (partial hospitalization), intensive outpatient, and standard outpatient care. A sister campus in nearby Burns handles medical detox and residential treatment, so clients can move between levels of care without switching providers. They treat alcohol and drug addiction, including benzodiazepines like Klonopin, and offer dual diagnosis care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Both campuses are accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, and admission starts with a free, confidential assessment, with same-day entry possible when space allows.

Their outpatient programs welcome people taking medication-assisted treatment, and the IOP combines individual treatment plans, group counseling, family therapy, and education on coping skills and relapse prevention, with schedules built around work, school, and family. For younger clients, the IOP can also stand in for school while they focus on recovery. Housing and transportation come with admission, supported by more than twenty recovery homes and a fleet of vans, which helps keep people engaged as they step down from one level of care to the next. More than half of the staff are in recovery themselves, and aftercare and alumni support remain available once formal treatment ends.
