About Fora Health
Fora Health, formerly known as De Paul Treatment Centers, is a long-established nonprofit treatment provider serving Hillsboro and the greater Portland, Oregon area. For more than 50 years they have treated adults with substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health conditions, using a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach rooted in harm reduction. Their continuum of care covers withdrawal management (detox), medically monitored residential treatment, adult residential treatment, adult outpatient services, and DUII treatment, so patients can move between levels of care as their needs change. They hold CARF accreditation, accept most insurance including Oregon Health Plan CCOs, and offer a sliding scale based on income and family size, and no one is turned away for inability to pay.
Care plans are built around each person’s strengths, needs, and preferences, with access to dual diagnosis and mental health services, family therapy, and peer recovery mentors. Their medical team prescribes FDA-approved medications for addiction treatment to ease withdrawal and cravings, either short-term or as ongoing relapse prevention, and walk-in MAT access is available on weekdays at their Cherry Blossom location in SE Portland. They do not provide methadone, but people receiving methadone elsewhere can still join their outpatient programs. They also emphasize culturally responsive programming, work with community partners to support patients and families, and are building Fora Home, a recovery housing facility expected to open in late 2026.
