About FLACRA RRi

FLACRA RRi is part of the residential services of FLACRA (Finger Lakes Area Counseling & Recovery Agency) in Clifton Springs, NY. FLACRA is a nonprofit founded in 1973 that serves people affected by substance use and mental health disorders across seven Finger Lakes and Greater Rochester counties. They treat chemical dependency as a treatable disease and take a whole-person, strength-based approach that pairs addiction care with physical health and social supports. The Clifton Springs campus houses a 23-bed Addictions Crisis Center for medically supervised detox and stabilization, as well as Maxwell Hall, a 44-bed residential rehabilitation and stabilization program with 24-hour supervision.

Residential clients receive daily counseling alongside vocational education, career development, and work readiness programming, led by staff from multiple disciplines. Many go on to supervised reintegration housing at Otte Hall in Newark or Cadence Square in Canandaigua, a veteran-focused program run with the VA Medical Center, and then to supportive living as a step toward independence. The integrated outpatient clinic on the same campus offers counseling, peer support, medication management, and youth and family services. It also treats co-occurring disorders, gambling, sex addiction, and grief and family trauma, and provides Spravato for treatment-resistant depression. A sliding fee scale is available, and FLACRA’s peer-led Connections program offers free, non-clinical wellness, skill-building, and art classes seven days a week with no referral needed.
