About Evergreen Treatment Services
Evergreen Treatment Services is a nonprofit based in Seattle, Washington, that has provided medication for opioid use disorder and street-based outreach across Western Washington since 1973. They take a healing-centered, people-first approach and serve participants whether or not they are still using drugs, working toward goals each person sets, such as cutting back on use, finding housing or work, or reconnecting with family. Care centers on methadone and buprenorphine, offered through clinics in Seattle, Renton, and Olympia and through mobile medication units.
Patients who come in for daily dosing also have access to counseling and classes, along with referrals for mental health and primary medical care. Their Treatment in Motion program brings methadone and other opioid medications directly into neighborhoods in King and Mason Counties, with mobile units staffed by nurses, counselors, case managers, and medical providers. Through the REACH program, outreach workers build relationships with adults living outside in the Puget Sound region and connect them to case management. They also offer integrated care management for people with co-occurring mental health or medical needs, help with finding and keeping housing, and community justice initiatives for people cycling through incarceration because of substance use.
