About EOSIS

EOSIS is a Minnesota network of addiction and mental health treatment programs, and one of their residential treatment centers is in Saint Paul. Their residential facilities are licensed for co-occurring disorders, so substance use and mental health conditions are treated together under one plan. Across the network, care ranges from medically monitored detox at their EOSIS Gateway facilities to high- and low-intensity residential treatment and outpatient programs. They also focus on specific groups, including working professionals, people involved with the justice system, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those who need help with relapse prevention.

High-intensity residential care provides 24/7 support and includes ongoing assessments, individual and group therapy, case management, social activities, and an individualized treatment plan. Licensed mental health professionals build that plan together with each person’s addiction counselor. Low-intensity residential care offers the same services at a lighter pace of about 10 hours a week. Medication-assisted treatment for withdrawal and cravings is available in every EOSIS program. For those stepping down from residential care or starting at a lower level, outpatient treatment offers individual and group therapy, educational workshops, relapse prevention planning, and care coordination. There is also a virtual intensive outpatient program for Minnesota residents that meets Monday through Thursday mornings. EOSIS works with most insurance plans as well as public funding.
