Elite Primary Care is a privately owned medical practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico, that runs an outpatient opioid treatment program, often called the Elite Methadone Clinic, alongside its primary care offices. They treat opioid addiction by pairing methadone with substance abuse counseling, an approach they see as the most reliable path to steady recovery. Walk-ins are welcome and no one is turned away, so people can start care without waiting. Patients already receiving medication treatment elsewhere can transfer and continue their existing plan, and the program is accredited by CARF.

Each patient gets an individualized plan that the medical team reviews and adjusts as needs change, with regular medical evaluations to track physical health during treatment. Counseling focuses on handling the situations that trigger use, building healthier social connections, setting recovery goals, and learning relapse prevention skills, with setbacks treated as part of the process rather than as failure. As treatment winds down, they provide discharge planning, follow-up, and referrals to local organizations that help with housing, employment, and food. Through their affiliated Elite Specialized Services, patients can also get psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual, family, and group mental health counseling, and monthly injectable medication for opioid use disorder, with in-person and telehealth options.
