Easterseals Blake Foundation is a Tucson-based nonprofit that has served Arizona communities for 75 years. Their work spans early childhood programs, support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and a behavioral health division that offers counseling, psychiatric care, and addiction therapy. They help people work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and substance use, with a focus on building resilience and everyday well-being. Care draws on several evidence-based options, including one-on-one therapy, couples and family sessions, and therapist- and peer-led groups. Peer support specialists who share similar life experiences also work with members individually. Psychiatric providers complete a full biological, psychological, social, and spiritual evaluation, build a treatment plan, and handle medication management, with follow-up visits typically every one to three months. Beyond therapy, case managers, employment specialists, and housing specialists help with practical needs like job searches, eviction prevention, and dealing with landlords. Services are offered in person and by telehealth across nine Arizona counties, and they accept AHCCCS and private insurance, with income-based discounts so no one is turned away for inability to pay.
