Dynamic Healing Center is a nonprofit community organization in Honolulu, Hawaii, offering substance use treatment alongside housing, therapy, and support services for individuals and families. Their approach is culturally grounded and family-centered, built on the belief that recovery involves the whole household and not just the person struggling with substance use. For adolescents and adults, they provide daily outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) programming, with on-site assessments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Treatment is subsidized to keep costs low, which can make care reachable for families facing financial strain.

Clinically, they draw on motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral strategies, social learning approaches, and an evidence-based family curriculum paired with a cultural program. For people involved with the courts, they run the State of Hawaiʻi Continuous Alcohol Monitoring program using SCRAM devices, along with judiciary case management that helps with ID documents, benefits applications, transportation, job readiness, housing placement, medication management, and mental health check-ins. Individual and family therapy is available as well. They also operate a Domestic Violence Cultural Agricultural Program that pairs therapeutic farming with survivor support, and they offer transitional housing for women and children plus an emergency shelter for seniors.
