About Divine Healthcare Services Inc

Divine Healthcare Services Inc is a nonprofit outpatient substance use treatment provider in Inglewood, California, serving adults as well as adolescents ages 12 to 17. They treat addiction as a chronic condition that needs ongoing management rather than a quick fix, and they build a continuum of care around each person’s needs, with sobriety and lasting lifestyle change as the main goals. Levels of care include outpatient (ASAM 1), intensive outpatient (ASAM 2.1), and recovery support services for both adults and youth. Anyone with Medi-Cal can qualify, and staff help people without coverage apply or find other resources.

Care begins with a full ASAM assessment covering six areas of a person’s life, which determines placement and shapes an individualized treatment plan. From there, clients may receive individual counseling grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, along with group counseling, family therapy, psychotherapy, patient education, crisis intervention, case management, drug and alcohol testing, and aftercare and alumni support. Young clients work with specially trained staff in a setting kept separate from adults, and the program accepts adolescent referrals from partner agencies. Services are available in both English and Spanish, free transportation to and from treatment has been offered, and clients who need medication-assisted treatment are referred to outside providers.
