About CREOKS Health Services

CREOKS Health Services in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, is part of a nonprofit behavioral health network that has served communities across eastern Oklahoma since 1980. They provide outpatient mental health and substance use care for adults, teens, and children, treating substance use alongside depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other emotional and behavioral conditions. Their philosophy centers on treating every person with dignity, listening closely, and building practical, individualized plans that fit into daily life close to home. They are certified by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, accredited by CARF International, and designated as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic.

Care is delivered in clinics, in clients’ homes, and through school-based programs, with youth services extending to young people up to age 25. Treatment draws on evidence-based counseling, including individual and family therapy, and is supported by care coordination, housing assistance, crisis intervention, and equine-assisted therapy at their River Trail Ranch. A dedicated veterans program pairs therapy with an understanding of military culture and supports veterans’ families as well. For anyone facing an urgent mental health or substance use crisis, their Spring Creek Recovery Centers in Tahlequah and Sapulpa, along with a youth unit in Sapulpa, offer immediate short-term stabilization at no cost.
