About CPC Integrated Health

CPC Integrated Health is a private nonprofit behavioral health organization based in Matawan, New Jersey, serving adults, children, and families across Monmouth and Northern Ocean Counties. Founded by local parents in 1960 as the Children’s Psychiatric Center, they now operate as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, treating mental health and substance use disorders while coordinating physical health care and social services. For substance use, they offer an adult intensive outpatient program, ongoing group therapy, and a partial care day program for people with co-occurring conditions, along with outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance, and they offer bilingual staff, interpretation services, and telehealth.

Their adult IOP provides nine hours of treatment per week, addressing substance use and mental health together through a person-centered, harm-reduction approach built around each person’s strengths. Substance use groups meet one to three times weekly and are led by licensed social workers and counselors, with sessions focused on recovery, emotional regulation, trauma processing, and a dedicated group for young adults ages 18 to 25. The weekday partial care program combines individual and group therapy, case management, medication management, employment readiness, transportation, and meals, and clients build practical skills through a culinary group and a client-run canteen. Beyond clinical care, CPC helps with housing, food insecurity, legal counseling, and crisis intervention, and they offer reentry case management for people leaving incarceration.
