About Coras Wellness and Behavioral Health
CORAS Wellness & Behavioral Health is a Delaware addiction and behavioral health provider with a clinic in Dover, one of several locations they operate across the state. Founded in 2021 and affiliated with DSAMH and CARF, they treat adults with opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders, including people who also live with anxiety, depression, or trauma. Their care spans medication-assisted treatment with methadone, residential rehab at ASAM Levels 3.1 and 3.5, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient services, and DUI and alcohol education. They accept Delaware Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial plans, and they also work with uninsured residents.
In the MAT program, patients receive medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, Sublocade, or Vivitrol alongside individual or group counseling, peer support, and relapse-prevention planning, with telehealth available for some counseling and medication check-ins. MAT intake runs on weekday mornings, and a person can begin at one clinic and transfer to their home site the next day. Residential clients live onsite with round-the-clock supervision, medication management, life-skills training, and therapy, then step down into outpatient or MAT care; personal vehicles aren’t allowed, but staff help arrange transportation. The PHP and IOP groups focus on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention, and they offer walk-in intake, hot meals, and transportation assistance.
