Conifer Park’s Troy outpatient center is an OASAS-licensed clinic serving adults in Rensselaer County and the wider Capital Region who need addiction care that fits around work, school, and family. They treat alcohol, opioid, and other drug use, often alongside depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions, and they plan substance use and mental health care together. Care includes standard outpatient counseling, an intensive outpatient program that meets three times a week for three hours per session, and medication-assisted treatment. Conifer Park has treated addiction in New York since 1983, and clients who need medical detox or residential care can start at the organization’s 225-bed Glenville campus and then step down to Troy without repeating intake.

For opioid and alcohol dependence, the clinic offers methadone maintenance, buprenorphine induction and maintenance with Suboxone or Subutex, and naltrexone, including Vivitrol injections, with same-day starts possible when clinically appropriate. Group therapy is the core of treatment and covers relapse prevention, coping skills, and communication, while individual therapy, dual-diagnosis groups, gender-specific groups, and family sessions round out the program. Specialized tracks include DWI evaluations and DWI-focused groups, a group for licensed professionals whose credentials are at risk, and a Next Level Group for people committed to long-term recovery. Case management helps with housing, employment, and court paperwork, telemedicine is available for clients with transportation or scheduling barriers, and walk-ins are welcome, with most assessments scheduled within 24 hours and Medicaid, Medicare, and many private plans accepted.
