About Conifer Park Inc
Conifer Park’s Troy outpatient center is an OASAS-licensed addiction treatment clinic serving adults in Troy, Rensselaer County, and the wider Capital Region. They treat alcohol, opioid, and polysubstance use, along with co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Care includes standard outpatient counseling, an intensive outpatient program that meets three times a week for three hours per session, and medication-assisted treatment with methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone and Subutex), and naltrexone, including Vivitrol. Conifer Park is an employee-owned organization that has treated addiction in New York since 1983. People who need medical detox or residential care can begin at their 225-bed Glenville campus and then step down to the Troy clinic within the same system.
Most of the clinical work happens in small groups that cover relapse prevention, coping skills, and communication, with individual therapy and medication management added as needed. Dual-focused groups address mental health and substance use together, and clients can also join gender-specific groups, early recovery support, and a Next Level Group for people committed to long-term recovery. There is also a Professional’s Group for nurses, lawyers, teachers, and therapists whose licenses are at risk. The clinic offers DWI evaluations and DWI-specific groups, family sessions, case management for housing, employment, and court paperwork, and telemedicine for clients who have trouble with transportation or scheduling. Walk-ins are welcome, assessments are usually scheduled within 24 hours, and same-day MAT is available when clinically appropriate.
