About Concerted Care Group Cumberland LLC
Concerted Care Group Cumberland is one of several outpatient centers that Concerted Care Group operates across Maryland and Delaware, serving adults in Cumberland, MD who are dealing with substance use, mental health conditions, or both. They treat alcohol, opioid, stimulant, benzodiazepine, and polysubstance use alongside depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other mood conditions, with a dual-diagnosis model that addresses both at once. Their levels of care include an intensive outpatient program (IOP), standard outpatient counseling, medication-assisted treatment, and psychiatric rehabilitation. Treatment plans are built collaboratively and revisited regularly, so patients can step up or down in intensity as their needs change.
IOP meets three to four days a week for about two to three hours per session, and length of stay depends on progress rather than a set number of weeks. Group sessions draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT-informed emotional regulation and distress tolerance skills, relapse prevention, and craving management, paired with one-on-one counseling, crisis planning, and psychiatric medication support. Medication options across the organization include buprenorphine (Suboxone), methadone, and injectable Vivitrol, combined with counseling and ongoing medical oversight. Anyone physically in Maryland can also attend the same IOP live by video and switch between virtual and in-person formats during treatment. Medicare and Medicaid are accepted, along with most commercial plans and self-pay, and same-day intakes are available.
