ComWell is a nonprofit community behavioral health provider with an office in Sparta, Illinois, serving Randolph County, Washington County, and the surrounding southern Illinois region with mental health, substance misuse, and developmental disability services. For adults living with severe and persistent mental illness, their Melmar program in Sparta provides 24-hour supervised residential care for 18 to 24 months, with a focus on daily living skills, medication education, and a transition toward independent living.
