About Community Bridges Inc
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral health provider founded in 1982, with Tucson locations that include the Toole inpatient program and the Dodge Center residential program, as part of a network spanning Arizona and several other states. They treat substance use and mental health conditions together, building individualized plans that can combine therapy, medication, peer support, education, and housing help. Their continuum includes crisis care, psychiatric inpatient stabilization, residential treatment, and an opioid treatment program with intensive and standard outpatient options. Adults 18 and older can walk into a CBI crisis clinic to be screened for inpatient care, which accepts all AHCCCS plans, major commercial insurance, and other funding for people who are uninsured or underinsured.
Residential care offers co-ed, single-gender, and women-with-children settings, along with individual and group therapy, peer support, relapse prevention, life skills, anger management, and expressive art groups. Residents are introduced to both 12-Step and SMART Recovery, and traditional healing and talking circles are also available. Inpatient stays bring together doctor and nurse practitioner visits, ongoing nursing care, counseling, case management, and medication-assisted treatment, with discharge planning and bridge prescriptions to support the move into outpatient care. For opioid use disorder, they provide methadone and buprenorphine alongside CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed counseling.
