Comm Mental Health Consultants Inc, now operating as Fast Comprehensive Care, is a CARF-accredited community mental health organization in Harrisonville, Missouri, with a second office in Nevada, Missouri. They bring primary care, psychological testing, counseling, and addiction treatment together in one place, on the view that physical illness, mental health, and substance use affect one another and should be treated together. Their substance use services include the state-certified CSTAR program, which offers a flexible outpatient continuum with day treatment for people with serious addiction, along with medication-assisted treatment and the SATOP program for people with DWI and related offenses. They serve children, adolescents, families, and adults, and they address co-occurring mental health conditions alongside substance use.

In CSTAR, each client is assessed and placed at a level of support that fits their needs, then works with a team that includes a substance use counselor, a mental health counselor, a community support specialist, and a peer support specialist. Groups meet every weekday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM and cover topics such as cognitive behavioral anger management, self-esteem and boundaries, and the core values of recovery. The MAT program treats opioid and alcohol use disorders with buprenorphine, Suboxone, Subutex, naltrexone, disulfiram, and acamprosate, paired with counseling. Individual, family, group, and couples therapy draw on DBT, EMDR, CBT, trauma-informed CBT, ACT, and play therapy for children, and they also offer Spravato for treatment-resistant depression and a 24-hour crisis line.
