About Clear Concepts Counseling

Clear Concepts Counseling is a Pennsylvania-licensed outpatient drug and alcohol counseling agency with an office in Mifflintown, serving Juniata County, and a second office in nearby Lewistown in Mifflin County. They work with people struggling with chemical dependency and with those whose lives have been affected by someone else’s substance use. Their clients include adolescents, adults, inmates, and families. In Juniata County they offer individual counseling, while their Mifflin County office adds intensive outpatient (IOP) and group counseling.

Young people make up a significant part of their work. Their counselors sit on the Student Assistance Program (SAP) teams in both local school districts and meet with students who are using substances or are at risk, either at school or in the office. For adults, the range of individual sessions, group work, and IOP allows support to be scaled to how much structure a person needs. Including family members and people involved with the justice system means they can serve households and individuals at very different points in the recovery process.
