Choice Wellness is a family-owned behavioral health residential facility in Peoria, Arizona, offering medical, psychiatric, and counseling services in a home-based setting. Their mission centers on educating the mind to positively influence choices, and they take a holistic view that addresses mind, body, and spirit. Residential care focuses on helping people return to their families and communities by building healthy communication and social skills, independent living abilities, and the capacity to live well alongside others. Residents stay in newly built homes close to hiking and biking trails and the surrounding foothills.

Each resident’s care follows what they call a Personalized Care Plan Structure, which sets individual goals after an initial assessment determines the most suitable interventions. Core services include skill development, case management to track progress, motivational interviewing, and couples counseling. Their therapy options are broad, ranging from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and rational emotive behavior therapy to solution-focused brief therapy, strength-based therapy, and trauma-focused CBT. They also offer grief therapy, sand tray therapy, structural family therapy, transpersonal therapy, and behavior modification strategies, along with individual sessions, giving residents several ways to work through emotional and behavioral challenges.
