Central Jersey Comprehensive Treatment Center is an outpatient opioid treatment clinic in Cliffwood, New Jersey, near the line between Middlesex and Monmouth counties, and part of the Comprehensive Treatment Centers network. They serve adults 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid use disorder, including addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. Their approach centers on medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which pairs prescription medication with counseling to help people stop using opioids while easing the pain of withdrawal.
Unlike clinics that offer just one medication, they can prescribe methadone, buprenorphine, and Subutex, so patients and providers have more than one option to work with. Medication is combined with individual and group therapy, and people who would rather not use medication can enroll in counseling alone. The clinic accepts same-day walk-in admissions, offers take-home dosing for eligible patients, and accepts most insurance plans, which can make it easier to get started quickly.
