About Center for Integrated Family/Health
The Center for Integrated Family and Health Services, often called “The Family Center,” is a private nonprofit agency in Covina, California, that combines behavioral health, mental health, and primary care services for people across the San Gabriel Valley. They work with children, teens, and adults and make a point of reaching people who face financial, physical, social, or psychological barriers to getting care. Their approach rests on the belief that everyone is capable of change and that treatment should be grounded in proven, research-backed methods. They hold Drug Medi-Cal certification and also focus on prevention, early intervention, and harm reduction in the wider community.
Counseling is the heart of their work, with individual, family, and couples sessions offered at two Covina offices, in local schools, and in clients’ homes. Each person receives a thorough evaluation to identify co-occurring mental health or medical conditions, so those issues can be addressed alongside other concerns rather than separately. Families are treated as an important part of recovery and can take part through the center’s own programs or through referrals. Beyond therapy, clients can access case management, education, career planning, and court-ordered classes to help them rebuild stability in daily life.
