About Caron of Florida
Caron of Florida is the Delray Beach campus of Caron Treatment Centers, a nonprofit addiction treatment organization that has worked with people and families since 1957. They treat adults 18 and older for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, pairing evidence-based therapy with what they call neurorestorative care. Care in Florida spans medically supervised detox, inpatient treatment, day/night programming, intensive outpatient (IOP), standard outpatient, and aftercare.
Detox takes place in The Keele Center, where an on-site team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and case managers monitors withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, and stimulants and prescribes medications as needed, including medication-assisted treatment. That team can also manage related issues such as chronic pain, diabetes, and heart disease. Their Renaissance and Ocean Drive programs offer a day/night model similar to partial hospitalization, with treatment at clinical offices during the day and evenings spent in Caron-owned sober housing among peers. The Florida campus also has specialized tracks for professionals and affluent adults, neurocognitive assessments, and family programs, plus virtual recovery services, an alumni network, and Breakthrough workshops for individuals and couples.
