Their Day Treatment program is the most direct fit for addiction concerns, pairing relapse prevention and recovery work for people with serious mental illness and substance use through group counseling, education, skill building, recreational therapy, and family services, followed by an aftercare track of group and individual therapy. For those needing more intensive support, the medically supervised Partial Hospitalization Program centers on crisis stabilization, coping skills, and symptom and medication management. Community-based case management, available around the clock on Hawaii Island, Oahu, Maui, and Kauai, combines psychiatric care, nursing, and help with housing and benefits, and it often serves as a step-down after a psychiatric hospital stay. They also offer housing support for eligible Medicaid QUEST Integration members facing homelessness, along with a long-term residential program on Oahu of up to six months for adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring alcohol or drug problems.
