About Buena Vista Health and Recovery LLC
Buena Vista Health and Recovery is an addiction treatment center serving adults from their facility in Chandler, Arizona, in the East Valley. They offer a full continuum of care in one building: medically supervised detox, inpatient residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient care, with the whole path typically running 90 to 120 days. They treat alcohol, fentanyl and other opioids, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, and kratom, along with co-occurring conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and grief. Their approach is low-pressure and personal, with many staff members in recovery themselves and the same case manager following each client from admission through discharge.
Detox usually lasts four to seven days, with round-the-clock nursing, daily physician involvement, comfort medication, and an anti-seizure protocol for alcohol withdrawal. People already taking methadone or Suboxone can keep their dose, which providers review before arrival. Residential stays generally run about 30 days, and up to 45 when needed, built around two group sessions a day, individual therapy, psychoeducation, relapse prevention work, and optional nightly 12-step meetings. Clients have private rooms with their own bathrooms and catered meals, AHCCCS and major commercial insurance are accepted, and discharge planning includes help arranging sober living and continued outpatient care.
